Thistle Marketing is a digital marketing agency in Sandy, Utah, about fifteen miles south of Salt Lake City. We started the company in 2025.
Two people run it. Jeff Martin is our Creative Director and owns branding, design, and web. Spencer Martin is our Digital Marketing Director and runs paid advertising and SEO.

We are a full service agency, which in practice means a client can hand us the whole marketing problem instead of coordinating four different vendors who each blame the other three.

How we work
We measure our work by whether it drives profitable growth, not by how much of it there is. A monthly report full of impressions and engagement numbers is easy to produce and tells a client almost nothing about whether their money came back.
We lean on AI to automate the repetitive parts of the job and to move faster than an agency our size usually can. Then a real specialist reviews and refines the output before anything ships. AI on its own produces average work, and average work does not grow a business. Specialists on their own are slower and cost more than most companies should have to pay. Using both is how we keep quality high without padding a retainer.
The other thing we care about is being easy to work with. We would rather operate as an extension of your team than as an outside vendor you have to manage, chase, and translate for.
Who we work with
Our clients include Bluebird, BuzzBomb, TruFit, Hemlock Public School District, Morgan Law, and Airdog. They range from local service businesses to a public school district, and the work spans brand identity, website builds, search campaigns, and paid social.
